The Horticultural Garden, SF.

These two spectacular examples should make you visit the Strybing Arboretum/Horticultural Garden, at 9th and Lincoln, in the Inner Sunset district.

I shot these the other day (see date stamp on pic)…

See more at Picasa Web Albums, user: Jackbarry99.

Warning: you need proof of SF residency to get in for free. Otherwise: $7.00.

(the fee is under review and debate )

Muni has a great variety of vehicles, many with a romantic aspectic!

It should be an easy deal to market all these icons.

APRIL FOOLS? or.... "Springtime for San Francisco?"

Hello, friends:

I've lived in the Inner Sunset District, since 1969... I'm a realtor, married with two adult daughters
I believe we get the government we deserve, and that SF needs more involvement from all of us.

There are easy ways to improve the efficiency of how the city delivers services. I hope you will submit YOUR ideas here, so that the City will check this blog every so often.

I thought that it would be appropriate to buy a Muni Fast Pass, to encourage myself to use Muni more...
To my huge surprise, I now see that you have to go to one of only a few places to buy the Pass, and that you have to do it monthly....

What is so hard about selling an "Annual Muni Pass". Give a 10% discount. Make it available at all the public libraries, and places where the parking meter cards are sold, and so on.

I subscribe to stuff on an annual basis, not monthly... It is well past time that we can subscribe t0 an "Annual Muni Membership"! (throw in a cool Tee shirt that says "SF Muni Team", 2009 member., etc.

SF could do a lot more to promote things that are good for the city, like "muni ridership", for starters.
